Dear guests of Zöblitz, the serpentinite town, and the micro-region of Nechranicko, we are pleased to hear that you are interested in spending your holidays with us. Cradled in the lovely landscape of the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge) and surrounded by vast forests lies Zöblitz, home to 3,000 people. It has become famous for its century-long tradition of serpentinite working. This can still be found all around the town. Music lovers can enjoy the sound of the Silbermann organ in the town church, and ramblers‘ needs are fully catered for as well. There are also numerous cultural events to experience and enjoy. Over the border in the Czech Republic, tourists can explore the historical and attractive towns of Kadaň, Žatec and Klášterec with their many exhibitions, castles, churches, parks. The Nechranicko reservoir is a paradise for all water-sport enthusiasts. It would be a real pleasure for us to welcome you to our region that has „a lot more to offer than just water and rocks“. |
